  ABSTRACT: The government attaches great importance to “The Silk Road Economic Belt”, especially the role of logistics that influences economic growth. This paper selects the data of transportation investment and economic growth in Xi’an from 1993 to 2013. And I use the Unit root test, the VAR model and the Granger causality test. The research results show that the economic growth has caused the development of the logistics industry.
