ABSTRACT: Foreign body aspiration is common in young children or in adults with advanced age and altered mentation. Usually symptoms present acutely, leading to early intervention. We present a rare case of a healthy young female who aspirated her nasal ring but remained asymptomatic for almost eight years. The patient ultimately required a right upper lobe lobectomy for bronchiectasis.
