ABSTRACT: The theoretical system
of the medical classic Yellow Emperor reflects the cultural levels of the Warring States Period, and social history, and
science and technology development long after the Qin and Han dynasty, and it also
reflects the Chinese traditional mode of thinking. From the perspective of cognitive
linguistics, study on the book Yellow Emperor’s
emotional metaphor paradigm, cognitive mechanisms and meaning construction, it is
found that emotional metaphor is a more general theory which explains the important
thinking of physiology, pathology, therapy and health, etc., but it is also found
that as long as it is related to disease and health, there will appear magical implication
of emotional metaphors.
