ABSTRACT: The choice of the immigrant regional pattern will decide the success or failure of the ecological migration in a certain degree. According to different administrative scopes of the migration, scholars divided the ecological migration into different regional patterns, but the scholars had different views on the pros and cons of various models. Taking the Loess Plateau as an example in this paper, the author selected four typical case zones: village relocation, township relocation, county relocation, and trans-country relocation. By analyzing them one by one, the paper sums up the characteristics of the four patterns. The probe into the regional pattern of ecological migration in the Loess Plateau helps the author sum up the problem in choosing of regional mode. In the end, the choice of the future regional pattern of ecological migration in the Loess Plateau has been discussed, which will provide the decision-making basis for the future ecological migration in the Loess Plateau.
