ABSTRACT: Theoretical calculations which account for the complete absorption and intensity for the optical radiation He I (λ= 5875 Å) spectral line with fine structure of the transition 23P2,1,0 - 33D3,2,1 during He nanosecond discharge are presented. For different values of the absorption parameter (χ 0?), the absorption quantity A of the three components distorted as a result of reabsorption multiple process has been numerically obtained and graphically presented. The theoretical results for small values of χ 0? (≤4) give a good agreement with the experimental data in literature.
