ABSTRACT: This paper analyzes the function of the transportation, energy supply, water supply, telecommunications, environmental protection and other infrastructure factors on private investment, and takes the city of Nanjing as an example for the empirical analysis. Based on data from 1992 to 2011 for factor analysis, we conclude that infrastructure has promoted to private investment and that the level of infrastructure has become the bottleneck of economic development.
