ABSTRACT: First of all, this thesis will compile
negative effects of this process since the reform and opening-up policy was
enacted. And then the policy background, the connotation and the main function
of new-type urbanization will be introduced. Followed by an empirical study,
this thesis will also analyze the main factors of traditional urbanization and
make corresponding policy proposals for modern urbanization nowadays.
