ABSTRACT: Metaplastic carcinomas of
the breast are rare heterogenous neoplasms characterized by adenocarcinoma with
dominant areas of spindle cells, squamous and/or other mesenchymal
differentiation, that comprise of 5% of all breast cancer cases.
