ABSTRACT: Ectopic spleen may simulate kidney activity on renal scintigraphic imaging. Accurate diagnosis requires correlation with the patient’s history and anatomic imaging studies. We report a case where the spleen migrated to the left renal fossa and mimicked the left kidney after a left nephrectomy.
