Special Issue on Gastrointestinal Diseases and Disorders

Gastrointestinal Diseases and Disorders focuses on the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of conditions affecting the digestive system, including the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas. This field encompasses a wide range of conditions, such as gastroesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcers, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, gastrointestinal infections, colorectal cancer, liver diseases, and pancreatic disorders. Research in this area aims to improve understanding of disease mechanisms, identify effective diagnostic methods, develop innovative therapeutic strategies, and enhance patient outcomes through clinical research, advances in endoscopic techniques, and personalized medicine. It also addresses emerging challenges related to the gut microbiome, digestive health, nutritional disorders, and the prevention and management of chronic gastrointestinal conditions.
