Special Issue Membrane Science and Technology
Membrane
Science and Technology is a highly interdisciplinary engineering discipline
that integrates materials chemistry, transport phenomena, process engineering
and environmental technology, centered on the design, fabrication, characterization
and industrial deployment of selective semi-permeable barriers. It focuses on
regulating molecular/ionic mass transfer across tailored membrane interfaces to
achieve precise separation, reaction coupling and energy conversion functions,
with inherent advantages of low energy consumption, minimal waste generation
and modular scalability compared to conventional thermal-driven separation
processes.
The goal of this special issue is to
provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to
promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Membrane Science and Technology.
In this
special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original
research and review articles that explore Membrane Science and Technology. In this special issue, potential topics
include, but are not limited to:
-
Advanced
Membrane Materials & Fabrication
-
Membrane
Separation Processes & Engineering
-
Membrane
Reactors & Coupled Systems
-
Fundamental
Transport Mechanisms & Characterization
-
Sustainable
& Intelligent Membrane Applications
Authors
should read over the journal’s For
Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper
Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special
Issue – Membrane Science and Technology” should
be selected during your submission.
