Special Issue on Criminal Justice, Law and Society

Criminal Justice, Law and Society is a multidisciplinary field concerned with the legal systems, criminal behavior, law enforcement practices, judicial processes, and social structures that shape justice and public order. It explores the causes of crime, crime prevention strategies, policing methods, court procedures, correctional systems, and the protection of individual rights within legal institutions. Research in this area also addresses issues such as social inequality, juvenile delinquency, restorative justice, human rights, and the relationship between legal policies and community well-being. By advancing understanding of criminal justice systems and their social implications, this field contributes to fairer legal practices, effective crime prevention, institutional accountability, and the development of safer and more equitable societies.
