Special Issue on Interdisciplinary and Frontier Cross-disciplinary Research

Interdisciplinary and Frontier Cross-disciplinary Research is a paradigm-shifting, problem-centered academic research framework that deliberately transcends the traditional institutional boundaries of established single disciplines, integrating complementary theoretical foundations, methodological toolkits, and technical resources from two or more distinct knowledge domains to address unmet grand societal and scientific challenges that cannot be resolved within any single disciplinary silo. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Interdisciplinary and Frontier Cross-disciplinary Research.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore Interdisciplinary and Frontier Cross-disciplinary Research. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:
