Biomedical and Biological Sciences brings together research on biological mechanisms, biomedical processes, and emerging advances that contribute to a deeper understanding of health, disease, and living systems. The topic includes molecular and cellular biology, genetics and genomics, microbiology, immunology, physiology, biochemistry, neuroscience, developmental biology, biotechnology, disease mechanisms, diagnostic approaches, therapeutic research, and translational medicine. It also welcomes studies addressing emerging biomedical technologies, bioinformatics, precision medicine, regenerative biology, and interactions between biological systems and their environments. The special issue provides a broad platform for theoretical, experimental, and applied research that advances knowledge across contemporary biomedical and biological sciences.
