Special Issue on GIS and Geographic Analysis
GIS and Geographic Analysis investigates the
collection, organization, interpretation, and visualization of location-based
information to understand spatial relationships and geographic processes. It
supports the examination of patterns and interactions across natural and human
environments through digital mapping, spatial modeling, remote sensing,
geospatial databases, and analytical techniques. Applications extend to urban
development, environmental assessment, transportation, land management, public
services, disaster response, and regional planning. The field also advances
methods for integrating diverse geographic datasets, evaluating spatial relationships,
and generating evidence-based insights for complex geographic problems and
decision-making.
In this
special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring GIS and
Geographic Analysis. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Spatial analysis
-
Geographic information systems
-
Remote sensing
-
Digital cartography
-
Geospatial modeling
-
Spatial statistics
-
Geovisualization
-

Authors
should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please
kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The
research field “Special Issue - GIS and Geographic Analysis” should
be selected during your submission.
