Special Issue on Hydrological Variability,
Climate Change, and Water Security
Hydrological Variability, Climate Change, and
Water Security explores the complex interactions between changing hydrological
processes, climate variability, and the sustainable management of water
resources. It brings together research on changes in precipitation, streamflow,
droughts, floods, groundwater dynamics, water availability, and hydrological
extremes under a changing climate. Particular attention is given to
water-resource assessment, watershed management, climate impact evaluation,
hydrological modeling, adaptation strategies, and approaches for strengthening
water security. The topic provides a platform for investigating emerging
challenges and practical solutions for resilient and sustainable water systems
across diverse environmental and socioeconomic settings.
In this
special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring Hydrological
Variability, Climate Change, and Water Security. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Hydrological variability
-
Climate change
-
Water security
-
Precipitation dynamics
-
Streamflow variability
-
Drought assessment
-
Flood risk
-

Authors
should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please
kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The
research field “Special Issue - Hydrological Variability, Climate Change,
and Water Security” should be selected during your submission.
