Special Issue on
Climate Research at Various Spatial and Temporal Scales
The
assessment of climate change involves two important issues: the spatial scale
of analysis and the contribution of anthropogenic activity to climate change.
The understanding of climate change and its impact at different scales is very
important for the prioritization of the most affected areas, and to avoid
various problems, which include temperature in-creases, erratic precipitation
patterns, flooding, water scarcity, loss of property, and various other
environ-mental problems. An understanding of climate change and its impact at
different scales will help in deciding on optimum adaptation strategies at
local and regional levels. The goal of this
special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over
the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in
this area of climate research at various spatial
and temporal scales.
In this special
issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring climate research at various
spatial and temporal scales. Potential topics include, but
are not limited to:
-
Regional climate
-
Urban climate
-
Multiscale climate
-
Tropical climate
-
Climate downscaling
-
Climate and monsoon
-
Cloud and precipitation
predictions
-
Spatial and temporal scales of
future climate information
-
Past, present, and projected climate change
Authors should read
over the journal’s For Authors carefully before
submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their
complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Climate Research at Various Spatial and
Temporal Scales” should be selected during your
submission.
