Special Issue on Statistical Thought and Methodology

Statistical Thought and Methodology is the foundational core branch of statistics, which focuses on exploring the philosophical premises, core concepts, logical frameworks, and general analytical paradigms that guide all statistical practices. It establishes the universal worldview and methodological basis for the entire discipline, governing the full workflow of data collection, collation, modeling, inference, and result interpretation across all application scenarios. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Statistical Thought and Methodology.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Statistical Thought and Methodology. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:
