Special Issue on Computational Methods for Water, Energy, and Environmental Engineering


Computational Methods for Water, Energy, and Environmental Engineering applies advanced computational techniques to the analysis, prediction, and optimization of interconnected water, energy, and environmental systems. It incorporates numerical methods, mathematical modeling, artificial intelligence, machine learning, optimization algorithms, data analytics, and computer-based simulation to investigate complex processes and support evidence-based engineering decisions. Applications include water resource management, hydraulic and hydrological analysis, energy system planning, renewable energy assessment, environmental monitoring, pollution control, climate impact evaluation, and resource efficiency, with an emphasis on developing reliable, data-driven, and sustainable engineering solutions.


In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Computational Methods for Water, Energy, and Environmental Engineering. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
