Special Issue on
Regenerative Medicine, and Tissue Engineering
Regenerative
Medicine, and Tissue Engineering is an interdisciplinary field focused on
developing biological and engineering-based strategies to restore, replace, or
regenerate damaged tissues and organs. It integrates stem cell biology,
biomaterials, cellular therapies, biofabrication, biomolecular signaling, and
engineering principles to investigate tissue development, repair mechanisms,
and functional recovery. Research in this area includes the design of
biomimetic scaffolds, cell-based therapies, organ and tissue constructs,
three-dimensional bioprinting, and advanced therapeutic approaches for treating
injury, degeneration, and disease, with the broader goal of advancing
personalized and clinically effective regenerative solutions.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Regenerative Medicine, and Tissue Engineering. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Stem cell therapy
-
Biomaterials and scaffolds
-
