Special Issue Materials Physics and Chemistry

Materials Physics and Chemistry is an interdisciplinary and foundational discipline within materials science and engineering that investigates the intrinsic physical and chemical behavior of materials at the atomic, molecular, and electronic levels. It systematically explores the interrelationships among a material's composition, structure, processing, properties, and performance. The ultimate goal is to design, synthesize, and characterize new advanced materials with tailored functionalities for specific applications. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Materials Physics and Chemistry.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore Materials Physics and Chemistry. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:
