Behavioral Economics and Economic Decision-Making

Behavioral Economics and Economic Decision-Making is an interdisciplinary field that examines how psychological, social, cognitive, and emotional factors influence economic choices and outcomes. It integrates insights from economics, psychology, neuroscience, and decision science to explore how individuals and organizations make decisions under conditions of uncertainty, risk, limited information, and competing incentives. The field covers topics such as bounded rationality, behavioral biases, heuristics, prospect theory, consumer behavior, financial decision-making, risk perception, nudging, and intertemporal choice. It also investigates how behavioral insights can inform public policy, business strategy, financial markets, and welfare-enhancing interventions, contributing to a more realistic understanding of economic behavior and decision-making.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Behavioral Economics and Economic Decision-Making. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
