Special Issue on Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Child Health
Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Child Health is an
interdisciplinary field focused on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and
management of infectious diseases affecting infants, children and adolescents.
It encompasses emerging infections, vaccine-preventable diseases, antimicrobial
resistance, pediatric immunology, infection control and global child health.
The field integrates clinical, epidemiological and translational research to
improve disease prevention, therapeutic strategies, health outcomes and the
overall well-being of children.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Child Health. Potential topics include,
