Language Acquisition, Learning and Applied Linguistics

Language Acquisition, Learning and Applied Linguistics examines how languages are acquired, learned, taught, and used in diverse individual, educational, and social contexts. Key areas include first and second language acquisition, multilingualism, language learning processes, language teaching methodologies, learner motivation, individual differences, language assessment, curriculum development, bilingual education, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, and technology-enhanced language learning. The field also investigates the cognitive, social, cultural, and contextual factors that influence language development and communication. By connecting linguistic theory with empirical research and educational practice, it contributes to more effective language teaching, learning, assessment, and policy development.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Language Acquisition, Learning and Applied Linguistics. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
