Bioactive Compounds, Molecular Mechanisms and Therapeutic Applications explores naturally occurring and synthetic compounds with biological activities and their potential roles in disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. The field covers the isolation, characterization, structural analysis, pharmacological properties, and biological functions of bioactive molecules, including polyphenols, flavonoids, alkaloids, peptides, terpenoids, and other functional compounds. Particular attention is given to their molecular mechanisms, cellular signaling pathways, interactions with biological targets, pharmacokinetics, bioavailability, and therapeutic effects. It also addresses the development of bioactive compounds into pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and functional products, supporting the discovery of innovative strategies for improving human health and managing various diseases.
