Economics of Human Resource Management examines the economic principles
underlying the management and development of human capital within
organizations. It covers labor markets, employee recruitment and retention,
wages and compensation, productivity, training and skill development, workplace
incentives, employment relationships and workforce planning. The field explores
how organizations can allocate human resources efficiently while improving
employee performance, organizational productivity, job quality and long-term
economic outcomes.
