Special Issue on New Materials and Intelligent Devices
New Materials and Intelligent Devices is a rapidly
evolving interdisciplinary field at the intersection of materials science,
electronics, computer science, and engineering. It focuses on the design,
synthesis, and integration of advanced functional materials—often termed
“intelligent” or “smart” materials—with device architectures that can perceive,
respond to, and adapt to their environment. Unlike traditional materials that
serve passive structural or functional roles, intelligent materials possess the
inherent ability to sense external stimuli (such as light, heat, force,
electricity, and magnetism), initiate dynamic responses, and even self-optimize
their performance. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for
scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss
various new issues and developments in this area of New Materials and Intelligent Devices.
In this special issue, we invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles
that explore New Materials and Intelligent Devices. In this special issue, potential
topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Stimuli-Responsive
and Adaptive Materials
-
Energy-Related

Authors should read
over the journal’s For Authors carefully before
submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their
complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - New Materials and Intelligent
Devices” should be selected during your submission.
