Special Issue on Drinking Water
Drinking Water focuses on the quality,
safety, treatment, distribution, and sustainable management of water intended
for human consumption. It encompasses the study of water sources, purification
technologies, contaminant detection, water quality monitoring, public health
protection, regulatory standards, and water supply systems. Integrating
knowledge from environmental science, chemistry, microbiology, engineering, and
public health, this field aims to ensure access to safe and reliable drinking
water while addressing challenges such as emerging contaminants, climate
change, aging infrastructure, and water scarcity. Advances in drinking water
research contribute to the development of innovative treatment technologies,
effective risk assessment methods, and sustainable water management strategies
that protect public health and support long-term water security.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Drinking Water. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
