Economics, Society and Social Issues is an interdisciplinary academic field that examines the relationships between economic systems, social structures, and contemporary societal challenges. It explores topics such as poverty, inequality, employment, social welfare, demographic change, education, healthcare and social mobility. By integrating economics with sociology, public policy and related social sciences, the field seeks to understand the economic causes and consequences of social issues and develop effective strategies for inclusive and sustainable development.
