Special Issue on Operations and Statistical Research
Operational research (OR) encompasses the
development and the use of a wide range of problem-solving techniques and
methods applied in the pursuit of improved decision-making and efficiency, such
as simulation, mathematical optimization, queueing theory and other
stochastic-process models, Markov decision processes, econometric methods, data
envelopment analysis, neural networks, expert systems, decision analysis, and
the analytic hierarchy process. The goal of this special issue is to
provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to
promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Operations and Statistical Research.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on
exploring Operations and Statistical Research. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not
limited to:
-
Critical
path analysis
-
Generalized
assignment problem
-
Bayesian
search theory
-
Supply
chain management
-
Cutting
stock problem
-
Computational
techniques related to decision making
-
Statistical
operations data analysis
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should
submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper
Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is
supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Operations and Statistical
Research” should be chosen
during your submission.
