Special Issue on Water Science and Engineering

Water Science and Engineering examines the scientific principles and engineering practices involved in the development, management, protection, and sustainable use of water resources. The field addresses challenges related to water supply, water quality, wastewater treatment, hydraulic infrastructure, flood mitigation, irrigation, aquatic ecosystems, and climate adaptation. By integrating knowledge from hydrology, environmental science, civil engineering, chemistry, and ecology, it advances innovative technologies and management strategies that enhance water security, protect ecosystems, support economic development, and improve environmental sustainability.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Water Science and Engineering. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
