Special Issue on Process System Engineering
Chemical
Engineering Process System Engineering (PSE) is an interdisciplinary sub-branch
of chemical engineering, which leverages computational methodologies, system
science and optimization theories to address the full lifecycle of chemical
processing systems, spanning planning, design, operation, control and efficient
management across multi-scale dimensions. It shifts from traditional
reductionism to holistic system analysis, aiming to maximize the overall
economic, environmental and operational performance of complex chemical
production systems. The goal of this special issue is to provide a
platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share,
and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Process System Engineering.
In this special issue, we invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles that explore Process System
Engineering. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not
limited to:
-
Process
Modeling & Simulation
-
?Process
Design & Synthesis
-
?Process

Authors should
read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please
kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Process
System Engineering”
should be selected during your submission.
