Special Issue on Catalysis and Reaction Engineering

Catalysis and Reaction Engineering (CRE) is a core discipline within chemical engineering that seeks to understand, control, and optimize the networks of chemical reactions that occur in systems ranging from cellular compartments to world-scale industrial facilities. It is fundamentally concerned with the design, development, and operation of chemical reactors, with a particular focus on the use of catalysts to enhance reaction rates and product selectivity. The ultimate goal of CRE is to transform raw materials into valuable products and energy in a manner that is efficient, sustainable, and economically viable. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Chemical Reaction Engineering.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore Chemical Reaction Engineering. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:
