Transportation Engineering and Management encompasses the planning, design, operation, and management of transportation systems to improve mobility, safety, efficiency, and sustainability. It covers topics such as traffic engineering, intelligent transportation systems, transportation planning, highway and pavement engineering, public transportation, logistics, freight transportation, transportation infrastructure, traffic safety, transportation policy, and sustainable mobility. The field integrates civil engineering, data analytics, operations research, and urban planning to optimize transportation networks, enhance infrastructure performance, reduce environmental impacts, and support the development of safe, resilient, and efficient transportation systems.
