Special Issue on Social Science and Healthcare Innovation

Social Science and Healthcare Innovation is an interdisciplinary academic field that examines how social, cultural, economic and organizational factors influence the development, adoption and impact of innovations in healthcare systems. It explores topics such as digital health, health policy, patient-centered care, healthcare technologies and service delivery models. The field integrates perspectives from sociology, economics, public health and management to improve healthcare accessibility, equity, efficiency and outcomes in rapidly evolving societies.
