Special Issue on Physical Education and Active Learning

Physical Education and Active Learning integrates innovative teaching approaches with movement-based education to promote physical competence, healthy lifestyles, and lifelong participation in physical activity. It encompasses research on physical education pedagogy, curriculum development, motor skill acquisition, exercise science, sport participation, fitness promotion, student engagement, and learning outcomes across diverse educational settings. The field also welcomes interdisciplinary studies that incorporate educational technology, health sciences, psychology, biomechanics, and inclusive education to enhance teaching effectiveness and learner development. By combining evidence-based instructional practices with active learning strategies, it aims to improve physical performance, cognitive engagement, personal well-being, and holistic educational experiences for learners of all ages.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Physical Education and Active Learning. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
