Special Issue on
Biotechnology for Human Health and Disease
Biotechnology
for Human Health and Disease applies biological systems, molecular
technologies, and engineering approaches to improve the prevention, diagnosis,
treatment, and management of human diseases. It encompasses advances in
genomics, gene editing, molecular diagnostics, vaccine development,
regenerative medicine, immunotherapy, and biopharmaceuticals to address both
infectious and chronic diseases. By integrating discoveries from molecular
biology, genetics, bioengineering, computational biology, and clinical
medicine, this field accelerates the development of innovative therapeutics,
precision healthcare, and personalized medicine while contributing to improved
patient outcomes and global public health.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Biotechnology for Human Health and Disease. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Medical biotechnology
-
