Environmental Policy and Sustainable Governance addresses the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, regulations, and governance frameworks that promote environmental protection and sustainable development. It encompasses environmental legislation, climate policy, natural resource management, biodiversity conservation, environmental economics, and institutional governance at local, national, and global levels. Integrating perspectives from environmental science, public policy, economics, law, and political science, this field supports evidence-based decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and cross-sector collaboration to address environmental challenges, enhance resilience, and achieve long-term sustainability goals.
