Water Pollution Prevention and Treatment Water Pollution Prevention and Treatment addresses the protection of water resources from contamination and the development of effective methods for removing pollutants from aquatic environments. It encompasses the study of pollution sources, water quality assessment, wastewater management, remediation technologies, and sustainable treatment processes for industrial, agricultural, and municipal water systems. The field integrates principles from environmental science, engineering, chemistry, biology, and public health to address challenges such as nutrient pollution, heavy metal contamination, emerging pollutants, and water scarcity. Through innovative technologies and management strategies, it aims to ensure safe water supplies, protect aquatic ecosystems, and promote the sustainable management of water resources for present and future generations.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Water Pollution Prevention and Treatment. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
