Special Issue on English Language and Communication
English
Language and Communication explores the structure, use, teaching, and social
functions of the English language in diverse contexts. It examines how
individuals and communities communicate through spoken, written, digital, and
multimodal forms of English, with a focus on language learning, discourse,
intercultural interaction, and professional communication. The field integrates
perspectives from linguistics, education, media studies, and communication
research to understand language practices and their impact on society. As
English continues to serve as a global language, studies in English Language
and Communication contribute to improving language proficiency, fostering
effective communication, and enhancing cross-cultural understanding in
academic, professional, and international settings.
