Special Issue on Hydrology and Watersheds
Hydrology and Watersheds studies the
movement, distribution, quality, and management of water within natural and
human-influenced environments. It focuses on understanding hydrological
processes such as precipitation, infiltration, runoff, evapotranspiration,
groundwater flow, and river dynamics within watershed systems. The field plays
a critical role in addressing challenges related to water resources, flood and
drought management, water quality protection, ecosystem sustainability, and
climate change adaptation. By integrating hydrological science, environmental
management, geospatial technologies, and watershed planning, researchers and
practitioners develop strategies to ensure the sustainable use and conservation
of water resources for ecological, agricultural, industrial, and societal needs.
In this
special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring Hydrology
and Watersheds. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Surface water hydrology
-
Groundwater hydrology
-
Watershed management
-
Hydrological modeling
-
River basin management
-
Ecohydrology
-
Urban hydrology
-

Authors
should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please
kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The
research field “Special Issue - Hydrology and Watersheds” should be selected
during your submission.
