Special Issue on Autism Research
“Autism Research” is an interdisciplinary
academic field that studies autism spectrum disorder (ASD), focusing on its
causes, diagnosis, brain and behavioral development, and intervention
strategies. It integrates neuroscience, psychology, genetics, education, and
clinical medicine to understand social communication differences, repetitive
behaviors and sensory processing in individuals with autism. The field also
explores early detection, therapeutic approaches, educational support and
long-term outcomes to improve quality of life and inclusion for autistic
individuals.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Autism Research. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:

Neurodevelopmental and brain imaging studies

Early diagnosis and screening of autism
