Special Issue on Autism Research

 “Autism Research” is an interdisciplinary academic field that studies autism spectrum disorder (ASD), focusing on its causes, diagnosis, brain and behavioral development, and intervention strategies. It integrates neuroscience, psychology, genetics, education, and clinical medicine to understand social communication differences, repetitive behaviors and sensory processing in individuals with autism. The field also explores early detection, therapeutic approaches, educational support and long-term outcomes to improve quality of life and inclusion for autistic individuals.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Autism Research. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Genetic and molecular Autism Research
• Neurodevelopmental and brain imaging studies
• Autism in adulthood and aging
• Early diagnosis and screening of autism
• Behavioral and cognitive autism studies
• Sensory processing and motor function
• Communication and language development in autism
• Autism intervention and therapy approaches
• Social interaction and emotional processing
• Comorbid conditions in autism

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
