Special Issue on Network Protocols and
Communications
“Network
Protocols and Communications” is an academic field that studies the rules,
standards, and technologies enabling data exchange between computers and
devices over networks. It focuses on communication protocols such as TCP/IP,
routing, switching, wireless communication and network architecture. The field
also examines performance, reliability, security and scalability of data
transmission systems, supporting the Internet, mobile networks, and distributed
computing applications across modern digital communication infrastructures.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Network Protocols and Communications. Potential
topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Network protocols and algorithms
-
Network architecture and design
-
Network planning and optimization
-
Protocol prioritization approaches
-
Internet protocol suite
-
Routing protocols and network layer design
-
Wireless and mobile communication protocols
-
Transport layer protocols and congestion control
-
Network security protocols
-
Software-defined networking
-
Network function virtualization
-
Internet of Things (IoT) communication protocols
-
Quality of service and network performance
-
Next-generation and emerging network architectures
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic
copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript
title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Network Protocols and Communications”
should be chosen during your submission.
