Special Issue on
Biodiversity Conservation and Ecosystem
Restoration
Biodiversity
Conservation and Ecosystem Restoration focuses on protecting biological
diversity and restoring degraded ecosystems to maintain ecological integrity,
resilience, and sustainability. It encompasses the study and management of
species, habitats, and ecological processes, addressing threats such as habitat
loss, climate change, pollution, invasive species, and overexploitation of
natural resources. By integrating knowledge from ecology, conservation biology,
environmental science, geography, and resource management, this area develops
strategies for preserving endangered species, enhancing ecosystem services, and
promoting the recovery of terrestrial, freshwater, and marine environments.
Research in biodiversity conservation and ecosystem restoration plays a
critical role in supporting sustainable development, mitigating environmental
degradation, and safeguarding natural systems for future generations.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Biodiversity Conservation and Ecosystem
Restoration. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
