Special Issue on Image Processing and Analysis
Image Processing and Analysis studies techniques for acquiring, enhancing,
interpreting and analyzing digital images using computational methods. It
focuses on tasks such as image enhancement, segmentation, pattern recognition,
feature extraction and computer vision. The field integrates mathematics,
computer science, and artificial intelligence to support applications in
medical imaging, remote sensing, security, robotics and multimedia systems.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Image Processing and Analysis. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Image
