Special Issue on Operations Research &
Optimization
Operations
Research & Optimization focuses on the application of mathematical
modeling, analytical methods, and computational techniques to support
decision-making and improve system efficiency. It involves optimizing resource
allocation, scheduling, logistics and complex system design under constraints.
The field is widely used in engineering, business, transportation and data
science to solve problems involving uncertainty, cost minimization, and
performance maximization, enabling better strategic and operational decisions.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Operations Research & Optimization. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Optimization algorithms
-
Linear and nonlinear programming
-
Integer and combinatorial optimization
-
Stochastic optimization and robust optimization
-
Dynamic programming and reinforcement learning
-
Network optimization and flow theory
-
Queueing theory and stochastic processes
-
Supply chain and logistics optimization
-
Game theory and decision analysis
-
Metaheuristics and evolutionary algorithms
-
Multi-objective optimization
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic
copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field
“Special Issue – Operations Research
