Special Issue on Ceramic Engineering and Technology

Ceramic Engineering and Technology studies the design, processing and application of ceramic materials, including traditional ceramics, advanced ceramics and glass. It focuses on understanding material properties, microstructures and manufacturing techniques such as sintering and high-temperature processing. The field applies ceramics in industries like electronics, aerospace, biomedical devices and energy systems, aiming to develop materials with high strength, thermal resistance and functional performance.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Ceramic Engineering and Technology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Ceramic characterization and testing
  • Structural ceramics
  • Functional ceramics
  • Advanced ceramic processing
  • Glass science and engineering
  • Bioceramics and biomedical applications
  • Nanoceramics and nanostructured materials
  • Refractory materials engineering
  • Electronic and dielectric ceramics
  • Ceramic coatings and surface engineering
  • Energy and environmental ceramics

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Ceramic Engineering and Technology should be chosen during your submission.

According to the following timetable:
