Special Issue on Materials Design and Simulation

Modeling, simulation, experimental characterization and synthesis to advance the state-of-the-art in materials design and discovery for engineering applications. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Materials Design and Simulation.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore Materials Design and Simulation. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Microstructure simulation and virtual material design
• Computational materials design and processing
• Multi-scale materials simulation and design
• Simulation-assisted materials design for the concurrent design of materials and products 
• Mathematical models in materials science
• Mesoscale and multiscale modelling
• Kinetics & mcrostructure modelling

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
