Special Issue on Rehabilitation and Treatment
Rehabilitation and Treatment focuses on restoring,
maintaining, and improving physical, cognitive, and functional abilities in
individuals affected by injury, illness, or disability. It integrates clinical
medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and multidisciplinary care
approaches to enhance patient recovery and quality of life. The field
emphasizes evidence-based interventions, personalized treatment plans, and the
use of advanced technologies such as robotics, neurorehabilitation tools, and
telemedicine. By addressing both acute and chronic conditions, rehabilitation
and treatment aim to reduce functional limitations, promote independence, and
support long-term health outcomes across diverse patient populations.
