Special Issue on Applied and Environmental Microbiology
Applied
and Environmental Microbiology studies microorganisms and their practical
applications in natural and engineered environments. It examines how microbes
interact with ecosystems, contribute to nutrient cycling and are used in
processes such as bioremediation, wastewater treatment and industrial
production. The field integrates microbiology, ecology and biotechnology to
address environmental challenges, improve sustainability and harness microbial
functions for agriculture, energy and public health.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Applied and Environmental Microbiology. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Environmental
